Thanks for putting ColorfulTabs together. I handle a lot of tabs while doing my PhD and it's useful to be able to group them by colour.
I do have a couple of rough suggestions for features, however, should you have time to tinker with it:
1.) Direct access to recent colours - it would make changing the colour of various tabs a lot quicker (maybe four just added onto the bottom of the right-click menu)
2.) Named colours - some kind of palette of used, named colours that allows you to remember what each colour signifies in terms of your open tabs. I haven't given much thought to where that would go in terms of navigation, to be honest, but it would certainly be useful.
Any thoughts?
