I need ColorfulTabs more than I need FF Quantum. Since FF 57 doesn't support ColorfulTabs, then my solution is to remain on FF 56.0.2. This works fine, just like it did before FF 57 came along to ruin things.
To get the benefit of the Multi-process feature in FF 53-56, you need to revert to ColorfulTabs 31.2.0, but that is not a problem. Just remember to disable auto-updates to FF and to CT. If they ever fix FF57 to support this add-on, then I will consider upgrading to it.
In the meantime, I want to thank Shivanand for all his unpaid work to develop and support his wonderful add-on over the years. No other browser for Windows has anything like it.
