Firefox Quantum: Conflicts with Themes

I wanted to report that Colourful Tabs is having a conflict with Themes in the new Firefox browser (Quantum). Previously on Firefox v 56 and before I had no problem having colourful tabs and themes installed. The theme coloured the background of the menu areas and colourful tabs handled the styling/colouring of the tabs. It was great.

As referenced in another post, now in Firefox v57 with no themes, Colourful Tabs produces only the focussed tab in colour and all the background tabs are in white. However when I enable a theme and Colourful Tabs at the same time, instead of white all the background tabs are black. But Colourful Tabs also conflicts with the theme and makes all the background to menu area black as well.
