I thought the purpose of Colorful Tabs was to facilitate switching between tabs by color, which is faster than reading the tab title. And tab titles are often generic or misleading.
I used to love Colorful Tabs! They speeded up my browsing! However...
Today I find that, on Firefox 57.0, only the tab I am using is colored. And the color extends down to include the bookmarks bar, which often clashes with the page below.
Please ensure that, at any given moment and from any given position on my browser, only the tabs are colored, all the tabs are colored, the colors are different, and that each tab retains the same color.
In 24 hours I will disable or remove Colorful Tabs if it continues to be so utterly useless and annoying. I miss the former Colorful Tabs so very much...

Hi, I am also irritated by this new version of Colorful Tabs. Could someone from Addongenie.com please state where I can configure the add-on now?! The documentation on this is not up-to-date.
I definitely will not keep it with the current look and without being able to make settings as required.Thank you,
MelColorful Tabs have troubles with Personas Plus, the theme addon.
When CT is active the theme disappear if a new tab is opened and me too don't see the tab colored except the active oneI agree with the above users. Colorful Tabs isn't what it used to be. I'm betting it is a Firefox issue. I personally hate the new Firefox it has obsoleted some very useful add ons.
