Your 'with CT' is how mine was until v23.6. Now, its like that but the active tab looks like your 'without CT' screenshot (as per my attachment in post 16203). Is that what you're wanting?

I did also try pinning a tab after installing 23.8, and all looks fine in Win7 (and FF30beta actually). I'd never tried pinning before.
